Vietnam. The concept of the pavilion is based on the lotus flower. This is a very common plant in the country, beautiful and endowed with the powerful faculty of purifying water. Here, you will be able to enjoy food and drinks based on the lotus flower, along with shows and traditional handicrafts.


Burundi. The pavilion will lead you through a sensorial journey. Beginning with Sight, where you will be shown the country’s natural beauties (still relatively unknown because of underdeveloped infrastructure), the adventure goes on with taste and smell: here you will discover Arabica coffee. The journey ends with Hear and Touch: an experience of cultural traditions, sounds and songs. The pavilion is built with natural materials such as banana plant leaves and straw. 
Azerbaijan. The country is both a producer and exporter of organic, healthy and genuine food, from traditional herbs to the fish of its seas. The elegant wood and stone pavilion is structured on three floors, representing three biospheres: continental, Azerbaijani and the one with traditions and innovations for new generations. 
Estonia. The country points to two different aspects: technology and sustainability. Enjoying a leading position in technology – Estonia is home to Skype-, the pavilion includes elements of multi-touch applications and innovative technologies. The materials that are used are 50% recycled. The country shows its unblemished nature, unique, vibrant culture and organic farming techniques through workshops and performances. 
Ghana. Situated in the Cocoa Cluster, this is a pavilion for chocolate lovers. The country promotes its vision of sustainable cocoa farming, illustrates the benefits of chocolate and takes the visitor through a journey in the history of chocolate. After the tour, visitors will be able to taste Ghana’s cocoa products and its traditional cuisine. 
Japan. “Harmonious Diversity” was chosen as its mantra. Through the Expo, the country aims to spread out its traditional values of sharing, discouraging wastefulness, harmony (both environmental and aesthetic), technology and a healthy diet to combat obesity. The pavilion is made of bamboo and wood, and equipped with technologies for energy conservation. Events and installations aim to stimulate the five senses. 
Also, you may learn a great deal by visiting the pavilions of such countries as the Dominican Republic, which has met - almost two years ahead of schedule - the hunger target of the first Millennium Development Goal, as certified by UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization. The country aims to share with the world how it has succeeded in guaranteeing food and nutritional security for all. If you are a coffee lover, you will enjoy the experience even more: the Dominican Republic is located in the Coffee Cluster, and will allow you to explore some of the secrets of its high-quality coffee beans.
